Before & After

It's a simple story, really; one with a before and a happily ever after . . . .


Since quite a few have asked to see what one of my portraits look like before I edit them, here is a side by side example. I am excited to share and give everyone a glimpse into how

much work goes into creating a piece this detailed.


Rainbow Space is more of a painting than a photograph now, though the bare bones are still visible. So far, it is my favorite Massurrealist Portrait of the year. Brushed and merged in are six actual photos, and two of my paintings. Though most concepts are born in a flash, a finished project this size can take anywhere from a week to a month to complete.

definitely a special one.
